Our video production company partnered with Athlete Ally to edit a recap video of their 2023 Action Awards in New York City.
The Story
Athlete Ally is on a mission to end homophobia and transphobia in sport. They believe in equal access, opportunity, and experience for every athlete – regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Their work involves activating the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQI+ equality. One way in which they do this is through their annual Action Awards. The Action Awards celebrate the pioneering actions of organizations and individuals that help create LGBTQI+ inclusive athletic environments and eliminate anti-LGBTQI+ discrimination at large. Our team was responsible for all post-production of the event.
The Process
- Athlete Ally brought us in for all post-production of their 2023 Action Awards.
- With a 2-week turnaround time, our team put together a 3-minute recap video of the event.
- We combined the on-site videography with virtual recordings and still images from the event seamlessly.
- We delivered two versions of the final edit which each included a suite of branded graphics based on our previous work with the Athlete Ally team.
The Result
The Athlete Ally team posted the final videos across all of their social media platforms.
Engagement with the content was strong and attendees loved the recap video!
