The Story
We Speak NYC is a program that teaches New Yorkers from various language communities how to speak English through conversation classes. The basis of the curriculum is a TV series telling stories of immigrant New Yorkers. Season 2 focuses on individual stories of New Yorkers accessing city services. Once the series was complete, the MOIA team realized learners needed more information on how to access services themselves. Enter Show the Good and the series of four PSAs we produced for MOIA.
